Art for change

🎨 Art with a Heart - where beauty meets purpose.

Every piece of art in Felíni Crafts carries a heartbeat — a story of creativity, care, and compassion. Our family creates across several forms — jewelry, photography, painting, and music — all united by one purpose: to make the world a little kinder, one creation at a time.

A minimum of 50% of all profits from our art — and most often much more — supports the Felíni Stray Cat Project in Crete.

So when you wear, hang, or listen to our art, you’re also helping a stray cat receive care, food, or medical treatment.

Every creation is a small act of kindness

— beauty that goes beyond the visual.

💍 Jewelry by Gøril Trondsen Booth

Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted with care and intention — designed to connect the earthy with the soulful.

I select every bead, stone, and metal with attention to quality, harmony, and sustainability. The materials are animal-friendly and chosen for their natural energy and beauty. No two pieces are identical; each has its own quiet story — just like the cats and people it helps.

Inspired by nature, compassion, and yoga philosophy, my jewelry blends simplicity and spirit. Many customers say they can feel the heart behind it — and that is the greatest compliment I can receive.

📷 Photography by Gøril T. Booth

For more than twenty-five years, I’ve worked as a photographer — mainly within documentary photography for humanitarian organizations, both national and international.

My work has been published in magazines, newspapers, and books, and exhibited through traditional and touring exhibitions supported by the Norwegian Culture Department.

Photography has always been my tool to tell stories — big or small — with the hope of reaching the viewer at the heart.

Each image is an invitation to feel, to relate, and to see beyond what is shown.

From war zones to quiet Buddhist monasteries, my camera has always been a way to explore life’s contrasts — fragility and strength, despair and hope, endings and beginnings.

Much of my earlier work focused on deeply personal stories — small stories within larger, often political realities — illuminating the value of each individual life.

Many of these projects were created in the hope of contributing, even in small ways, to social change and justice, giving a voice to the voiceless.

After my personal life took an unexpected turn, my focus naturally shifted with less travel.

My current photography is less political in nature, yet still rooted in the same wish: to contribute to change.

As Albert Einstein once said,

“In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.”

Life throws us all curveballs, but we can choose to transform limitations into new possibilities — and that is exactly what happened.

Now I’m exploring beauty, essence, and the poetry of the everyday.

Each image is a reflection on time and change — on how beauty often appears quietly, in the space between what has been and what is becoming.

I’m literally exploring the moment.

“Time, Transition, and Tranquility”.

Ongoing project

My ongoing and long-running photo project, “Time, Transition, and Tranquility,” continues to evolve. Its newest chapter (II) is called “Stones.”

Probably self-evident — but I do love stones!

Whether it’s the gemstones I use in my jewelry or simple sea-washed rocks from the Norwegian or Cretan coast, I’m the kind who always returns from a hike a little heavier — with pockets full of stones.

Their appeal has to do with a sense of eternity.

Stones have always been here — silent witnesses to history — and they will outlive us, though not unchanged.

Each one carries traces of weathering and transformation, shaped by time and natural forces into new forms of beauty.

Studying stones is a reminder of how powerful and influential the environment can be. Despite their rock-solid resistance, they are continually roughened, cracked, tumbled, and polished — symbols of resilience and transformation.

There is something deeply poetic about stones.💛

As Northern Norwegian poet and musician Terje Nilsen once sang:

"Kvær og ein e et støkke poesi”

           — every stone is a piece of poetry.

Indeed. Let’s see where this project takes me.

For now, I consider it a study in light, structure, and perspective— a quiet exploration of strength and change.

Stay tuned.🌿

If you like what you see and choose to bring a piece home, know that your purchase helps support the Felíni Charity Project, where a substantial part of all profits go directly to the cause.

🖌️ Paintings by Anne Marie Trondsen

Colorful, heartfelt, and alive — the paintings by my mother, Anne Marie Trondsen, bring warmth and vitality into every space.

She is a well-known painter from Bodø, Norway, and her acrylic works reflect years of artistic devotion, humor, and emotional depth.

Anne Marie’s art often carries the same compassion and sensitivity that guide our entire project — a shared family thread of kindness through art.

🎵 Music by Bill Booth

My husband, Bill Booth, is an American-born singer-songwriter and musician, twice nominated for the Spellemannpris (the Norwegian Grammy).

His music blends Americana, Nordic, and Irish roots — songs about people, journeys, and the small moments that make life beautiful.

Like everything we do, his art is also part of our Art for Change movement — proving that even a melody can help feed a stray.

🌿 Where to Find Our Art

At this time, our work is available:

• In Justyna´s beautiful art and clothing shop Alchemia, Pitsidia, Crete (April–November)

• At selected art markets in Norway and Crete— including Norsk Folkemuseum’s Christmas Market, Oslo (Nov 29–30 & Dec 6–7, 2025)

• During Shanti Charity Yoga events — bringing malas and a selection of bracelets

• And of course, by personal request or inquiry

We are not an online shop— every piece is made and shared with intention, not mass production.
